We are pleased to provide permanent Online Memorials to you and the families we serve. The funerals entrusted to our firm are listed here. If you are
unable to visit the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home, you can still be with the family in thought by signing the Online Guest Book, expressing your condolences or sharing your most memorable recollection about the deceased. You can also place a memorial donation or send a floral tribute or a sympathy card through our website.

While newspaper obituaries fill needs within the local community, our Online Memorials reach far beyond – locally, nationally, and even globally through the Internet. This service allows family, friends and acquaintances to obtain the information needed to send flowers, memorial contributions and private email to the family.

Gorton-Menard Funeral Home's permanent Online Memorials offer families the option of both basic themed memorials with an obituary, guestbook and service times, or an interactive full featured memorial. Some of the features of the Online Memorials are listed below:

-   Our Online Memorials are permanent - they will never be taken down.
-   Your video tributes are posted on our Online Memorials free of charge.
-   You may embed unlimited videos posted to YouTube, or other video
    hosting services. 
-   All family, friends and visitors to the memorial can share stories about
    your loved one, directly on our Online Memorial. 
-   Dated stories will appear in the Life Timeline automatically. 
-   Family members can upload important documents to the memorial, 
    including newspaper clippings, certificates of accomplishment, memorial
    programs, or anything else they would like to share. 
-   Our new family tree allows family to build a complete family history,
    which automatically integrates with our other Online Memorials and allows
    cross memorial navigation through the family tree.
-   Your loved one’s life timeline is auto-created from important dates
    in the memorial. Any uploaded photo, video, document or story which is
    dated will appear in the life timeline as well. This allows visitors to explore
    the Online Memorial chronologically through your loved one’s life. 
-   The Guestbook is fully integrated and unique to each person, allowing
    family and friends to share thoughts and sympathy online. 
-   Our Online Memorial system is now integrated with CardSymplicity,
    which provides personalized sympathy cards to the family. This feature
    allows visitors to send a sympathy card to the family c/o our funeral home,
    to the family address on file, or to a custom address. 
-   Our Online Memorials have built in security. Families have the option of
    having all guestbook entries and visitor submitted photos, stories,
    documents and videos emailed to them for approval. This means nothing
    has to be posted without prior family approval. The family also have the
    option to edit or delete anything from the memorial which may be undesirable.
