Carol A. (Cote) Deitrick

Carol A. (Cote) Deitrick, 82, of Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehablitation, Coventry, RI. She was the beloved wife of Gary W. Deitrick for 59 years. Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Gertrude (Lennon) Cote.

Carol was well-known for her green thumb and her love of dogs, cats and shopping.

She is survived by her loving children, Michael S. Deitrick and his wife Robin of Narragansett, Thomas H. Deitrick of South Kingstown, Deborah A. Deitrick of South Kingstown and Kimberly D. Lofgren and her husband David of Hope Valley. She was predeceased by her son Donald G. Deitrick. Carol was the cherished grandmother of four beautiful granddaughters, Ashley, Amy, Alisa and Carollen and the great-grandmother of Maddox. She was the sister of the late Eileen R. (Cote) MacDonald.

Private Services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Rhode lsland or North East Animal Rescue, South-Paws Express of Rhode island.
