James F. Doyle

James F. Doyle, 83, of Harkney Hill Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Alden Court Nursing & Rehabilitation, Fairhaven, MA. Born in Sumter, SC he was the husband of Gladys Calladine Clarke Doyle and the late Joyce M. (Keller) Doyle. He was the son of the late Thomas O. and Beatrice (Ainsworth) Doyle.

James was employed by B I F for 35 years ending his career as Personnel Director. He was a former member of the Valley Country Club and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Church of the Apostles formerly known as St. Andrews and St. Phillips Episcopal Church.

Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters; Colleen A. Bast and her husband Scott, Cheryl M. Gammell and Sharon J. Costello and her husband Patrick, four step daughters; Susan and Joan Clarke, Beth Khovaylo and her husband Mo and Anne Young and her husband Ken, six grandchildren and two step granddaughters.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 12:00 pm (noon) from the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington, Street, Coventry, RI with a church service held at 1:00 pm in the Church of the Apostles, 170 Fairview Avenue, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston, RI.
