John T. Dockray

John T. Dockray Jr., 48, of Read School House Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at home. Born on December 8, 1970, in Providence, RI, he was the son of John T. Dockray Sr. and Lela M. (Stovall) Lindsay.

John was the owner and operator of Dockray Marine, Coventry, RI. He was also a yacht mechanic for Harrington Marine Service, Richmond, RI and prior to he also worked as a yacht mechanic for Brewer’s Yacht Yard, Warwick, RI.

Besides his parents John is survived by a son; Troy N. Dockray, Hagaman, NY, a daughter; Amanda N. Dockray, Hagaman, NY, fiancee; Kerri A. Drew, Coventry, RI, a brother; Joseph J. Lindsay, Amsterdam, NY, a sister; Shannon L. Knapp, Richmondville, NY and the mother of their children; Wendy L. Dockray, Coventry, RI.

A funeral home service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019, at 4:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Burial will be private
