Karen B. (Fairbrother) Lavoie

Karen B. Lavoie, 73, of Woodland Avenue, Coventry, RI, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. Born on January 6, 1946, in Providence, RI, she was the wife of Gilbert J. Lavoie. They were married for fifty-three years. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Edith (Hadley) Fairbrother.

Karen was a homemaker to her loving family. She was a member of the American Legion Lady’s Auxiliary, Coventry, RI and a member of the Coventry Men’s Club.

Besides her husband Gilbert she is survived by a daughter; Michelle DelNigro and a sister; Joyce Anderson. She was predeceased by a daughter; Bethanie Lavoie.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 11:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI, immediately following.
