Kathleen M. (Doyle) LaPorte

Kathleen M. (Doyle) LaPorte, 68, of Greene, Rhode Island, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. She was born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late Edward R. Doyle and Claire M. (McCarthy) Doyle. She is survived by her husband of thirty-three years, Ernest F. LaPorte. She is also survived by her daughters, Shannon L. McLaughlin (Casey) of Sharon, Massachusetts and Tara A. Jesuino (Ricardo) of Charlestown, RI. She is survived by her six grandchildren; Nathan Clifford, Zachary Conneely and Alexandra Conneely of Charlestown, RI and Grant, Grace and Gabriel McLaughlin of Sharon, Massachusetts. She also leaves behind her sister, Deborah Branch (Melvin) of Greenville, RI. She was also the sister of the late Barbara Venticinque. She also leaves behind two nephews and four nieces.

Kathy was a Registered Nurse, board certified in Gerontology, who worked in the capacity of Director of Nursing/Resident services throughout her career. Her most recent position was at Pacifica Victoria Court, Cranston, RI, where she served as Director of Resident Services for fourteen years; retiring in 2012.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 4:00 to 7;00 pm at Iggy's Boardwalk Restaurant, 889 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick, RI.
