Margaret M. (Higgins) O'Brien

Margaret M. “Peg” O’Brien, 91 of Wakefield Street, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Kent Hospital. Born on September 22, 1928, in Cranston, RI, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine E. (Maughan) Higgins.

Margaret was a clerk for the RI Veterans Administration, Providence, RI, before retiring. She was also a volunteer at Kent Hospital Gift Shop, Warwick, RI.

Margaret is survived by four sons; Robert J. O’Brien, Mark S. O’Brien, John D. O’Brien and Daniel P. O’Brien, two daughters; Nancy E. Brown and Jeanne M. O’Brien, a brother; Robert Higgins, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019, at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Avenue, Warwick, RI. Burial will be private.
