Richard A. Hulting

Richard A. Hulting, 86, of Quaker Lane, Warwick, RI, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2017 at home. Born in Providence, RI, he was the husband of Kimi (Watanabe) Hulting. They were married for sixty years. He was the son of the late Arthur M. and Ruth (Hilburg) Hulting and was a Coventry, RI resident most of his life.

Richard was a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator at Kent Hospital for twenty years until retiring

He was a US Air Force Veteran of twenty years and an Eagle Scout. He loved camping, traveling, golf, and most of all family outings.

Besides his wife, Richard is survived by a son; Christopher N. Hulting and his daughter-in-law Judy, a brother; Gilbert Hulting, a sister; Corrine Sjogren and three grandchildren; Alicia, Joshua and Christopher.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 12:00 pm (noon) from the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will be private.
