Shirley A. Horvath, 82, of Revere Avenue, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at West View Nursing Home, West Warwick, RI. Born in Canton, MA, she was the wife of the late Stephen Z. Horvath and the daughter of the late Charles H. and Margaret J. (Strong) Guile.
Shirley was an office clerk for Robert Hall Clothing for many years.
She is survived by a son; Donald B. Barker and his wife Cathy, a daughter; Cynthia Williamson, three grandchildren Diana, Michael and Kevin Barker and six great grandchildren.
A funeral home service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
