To Tom and Mary's Family...I knew your parents when they lived in Meriden at the Baptist home. I actually remembered your mom also from when she worked in the cafe at Maloney High School. I was a student there first and then a teacher. But my fond memories are from the times I walked my golden dog Diffley around the area of the Baptist homes and Mary would walk little Pepe. Our dogs got along and enjoyed each other and Mary enjoyed their antics and talking with me. I enjoyed it all too. It got to a point that whenever I would walk there my dog would go to the front door of your parents house and want to say hi. We did that often. I got to meet Tom then too. After they moved to RI. Diffley continued to stop by the house for a long time which was pretty sad to see. How do you tell a dog that his friends no longer live there. Recently I came upon the last note your mom wrote me from RI. They were both lovely people and I have very fond memories of them. Even though it may have been their time to move on from this life it is always hard and I am sending you my condolences and love and hope your memories ease the pain of your loss.
