William H. Mattscheck, 80, of Mulhearn Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the home of his daughter, Dawn. He was married to the late Barbara M. (Gilligan) Mattscheck and was the son of the late William and Marion (Poole) Mattscheck.
William was self employed as a finish carpenter for many years prior to his retirement.
He is survived by two daughters; Dawn M. Fox and Robin R. Mattscheck, four brothers; Sonny, Bob, Phillip and Al, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a very good friend; Charlie Shaw. He was predeceased by his daughter Cindy L. Mayer.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI with calling hours being held 1 hour prior; from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
