Catherine N. (Vose) Ricci

Catherine N. Ricci, (Norma) 84, formally of East Shore Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully at Scandinavian Skilled Nursing Facility on Sunday, August 21, 2022, surrounded by her children. Born on July 15, 1938, in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late George and Lena (Nassi) Vose. She resided in Warwick, before moving to Coventry.

Norma was a homemaker and worked retail sales throughout her life. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was her greatest joy. She was an avid traveler. She spent many winters in Florida, with her beloved Bill. Her happy place was the beach surrounded by her family and friends. She loved sports, and in her earlier years, she was her son's biggest fan. She never missed a Red Sox or Patriots game... Norma was a vivacious, energetic, generous, and caring person. She would light up a room with her beautiful smile, amazing sense of humor, and her infectious laugh. She was loved by all who knew her. She will hold a special place in everyone's memory.

Norma is survived by her former husband, Frank A. Ricci, Sr. of North Kingstown, her six children, Frank A. Ricci, Jr. (wife, Elizabeth) Craig S. Ricci (wife, Jane), Lori E. Lanoue, Lisa E. Ricci, David M. Ricci, (wife, Debra) and Leslie A. Antonelli. Her seven grandchildren: Kerri, Jessica, Jack, Lindsey-Rae, Lily, Brittani and Courtney and four great grandchildren; James, Julien-Dean, Memphis, and Brittany. She was predeceased by ("her beloved Bill”) William Aucoin, her four siblings, Amelia Larratunda, Anthony Larratunda, Margaret McElroy, and George Vose, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John & Paul Church in Coventry, RI on September 24, at 11:00 in the morning, followed by a celebration in Norma's memory.
