Christine Pierce Obituary

Chirstine L. Pierce, of Hog House Hill Road, Exeter, RI, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Born on December 18 in Exeter, RI she was the wife of Roger D. Pierce. They were married for forty years. She was the daughter of the late Everett L. and Beatrice (Brown) Tefft.

Christine was a healthcare attendant at the Ladd Center, Exeter, RI for thirty years before retiring in 1995. She had a love of horses which gave her the opportunity to work at Goddard State Park Riding Academy. She was also a communicant of Liberty Baptist Church, Exeter, RI and a committee member for the Exeter Memorial Day Parade. She also was an avid reader, loved all animals big and small and loved country music. Vince Gill was her favorite.

Besides her husband Roger D. Pierce, she is survived by two children; Holly D. Danis and Suzanne M. Pierce, a nephew who she considered a son; Thomas E. Tefft, eleven siblings; Janice Falcone, Myrna Andrews, Russell Tefft, Everett Tefft, Melody Greene, James Tefft, Dody Boeglin, David Tefft, William Tefft, Martha Holland, Joyce Phillips, three grandchildren; Katina, James and Skyla and two great grandchildren; Raelyn and Cora.

She was predeceased by four siblings; Ronald Tefft, Gary Tefft, Marylou Whitford and Raymond Spetrini.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
