Henry R. Mangiante Jr., 60, of Scituate Vista Drive, Cranston, RI, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Coventry, RI. Born on August 17, 1959, in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Henry R. Sr. and Theresa (Rotondo) Mangiante.

Henry was an avid hockey fan, especially the Boston Bruins. He loved music, his leather jacket and playing his guitar. He was a great cook and chef for various places throughout the years and even attended Johnson and Wales University, Providence, RI, for culinary affairs.

Henry was a US Army veteran and RI National Guardsman, who loved to argue about government conspiracies.

Henry had a funny sense of humor, He always made his daughter and grandchildren laugh. Most of all Henry was a Papa and a Dad! He will be missed dearly by all. If Henry had any last words for anyone, they would be “Kiss my Ass”.

Henry is survived by a daughter; Pamella Mangiante, a son; Justin Mangiante, a sister; Valerie Damiano and her husband Paul, and two grandchildren; John Lovell III and Gia Lovell, several nieces and nephews, and his former wife Donna Wunschel and her husband Mark.

His committal services with Military Honors will be private.
