Jean N. (Catone) Hickey

Jean N. Hickey, 81, of Summit Avenue, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Born on December 14, 1940, in Providence, RI, she was the wife of the late John T. Hickey and the daughter of the late Edward and Josephine (Rebeiro) Catone.

Jean was a production worker for Bradford Soap, West Warwick, RI, for thirty years before retiring in 2003. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Jean is survived by a daughter; Lisa J. Langlais and her husband Albert, a stepdaughter; Jessica Hickey D’Amore, three grandchildren; Sarah (Langlais) Cabral and her husband Nathan, Kyle Langlais and Adrian D’Amore, two great grandchildren; Chase Cronin and Evan Cabral and three siblings; Edward Catone, Jackie Jordan and Barbara Mazzei. She was predeceased by a sister, Delores Perry.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 3:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Burial will be private.
