Mona E. (Pimental) Carotenuti

Mona E. Carotenuti, 78, of Serrel Sweet Road, Johnston, RI, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Hope Hospice, Providence, RI. Born on July 26, 1943, in Lewiston, ME, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Pimental Sr. and Delica (Cyr) Plamondon.

Mona was a jewelry worker at Fernando Originals, North Providence, RI, for many years and then at Erwin Pearl for many years before retiring in 2012. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going to Twin Rivers Casino.

Mona is survived by two daughters; Theresa Carotenuti and Renee Lanni, a brother; Richard Pimental, a sister; Bernice Correira, three grandchildren; Brandon Lanni, Alycia Taborn and Jessica Carotenuti, two great grandsons and a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by three brothers; Kenneth Pimental, David Pimental and Tony Pimental.

Mona’s service will be private.
