Rene Bourassa Obituary

Rene J. Bourassa, 86, of Robert Street, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on February 14, 1935, he was the son of the late Alcide and Ida (Breton) Bourassa.

Rene was a co-owner, with his brother Lenny, of Bourassa Bros. Floor Covering, Coventry, RI for many years. He was also a flooring mechanic for twenty years at Fagnant Floor Covering, Warwick, RI. Rene retired in 1999.

Rene is survived by four sons; Roland Bourassa and his wife Debra, Donald Bourassa and his wife Sharon, Richard Bourassa and William Bourassa, a daughter; Lynn Marrese and her husband Clement, a brother; Al Bourassa, a sister; Janet Giammarco, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers; Roland Bourassa, Leonard Bourassa and Ronald Bourassa.

Rene’s service’s will be private.
