William E. Pendleton

 William E. Pendleton Jr., 83, of Blackrock Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at home. Born on April 11, 1939 in Westerly RI, he was the husband of the late Judith (DiChristofaro) Pendleton and the son of the late William E. Sr. and Harriet A. (Hunt) Pendleton.

William was an oil and gas technician for Arrow Gas Company, North Kingstown, RI, for many years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union 251 since 1993, a National Rifle Association member and a lifetime Elks member with Tri-City Elks Lodge 14. He was a lover of all animals and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and listening to Bluegrass music. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved ten pin bowling and was a Boston Red Sox fan.

William is survived by four children; Colleen Sweeney and her husband Michael, Dawn Marchessault, William Pendleton III and his wife Tamatha, and Kerri Lynn Pendleton, two sisters; Audrey Dusza and Helen Bromley. three grandchildren; William E. Pendleton IV, Mikayla Marchessault and Megan Pendleton and his cat Squeaky. William was predeceased by a daughter; Sherri Lynn Pendleton, two sisters; Harriet Langlais and Carol Wood.

William’s services will be private.
