Alfred E. LeClerc, Jr., 83, formerly of Station Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, Coventry, RI. Born in West Warwick, RI, he was the husband of Madeline (Pelletier) LeClerc. They were married for sixty-three years. He was the son of the late Alfred O., Sr. and Louise (Michaud) LeClerc.
Alfred was a plumber for thirty-eight years until retiring in 1996 from Colonial Plumbing. He also worked at Home Depot for twelve years. He was a US Army veteran serving in peace time.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son; Steven LeClerc, Sr. and his wife Lori and a daughter; Cheryl Anne LeClerc, two sisters; Jeannette Girard and Lucille Bettencourt and two grandsons; Steven LeClerc, Jr. and Michael LeClerc.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 9:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul Way, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick, RI.
