Carlo DePalma, 80, of Pond View Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bari, Italy, he was the husband of Linda M. (Keener) DePalma. They were married for thirty-five years. He was the son of the late Antonio and Marie (Bravo) DePalma.
Carlo was a baker at Superior Bakery, Cranston, RI, for forty-five years until retiring in 1991. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, baking and traveling.
Besides his wife he is survived by three children; Patricia M. Moffitt and her husband Brian, Dennis J. DePalma and Billyjack DePalma and his companion Amanda Cunha, two sisters; Rosa Rakoczy and Isabella Cicerone, eight grandchildren and a great grandson. He was predeceased by two brothers; Michael DePalma and Antonio DePalma.
A funeral will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 9:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI.
