David W. Gildard, 59, of Main Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at home. Born in Portland, ME, he was the husband of Jacqueline L. (Gaffney) Gildard and the son of the late Wayne P. and Margaret Ann (Bruce) Gildard.
David was a stone mason in the construction industry for many years. He was a US Army Veteran serving during peace time.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son; David Gaffney and his dog “Tiberius”.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. A calling hour will be held prior from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Burial will be private.
