Irene Farra Obituary

Irene E. Farra, 92, was born on November 7th, 1926 in Pawtucket, RI, worked in Sayles Finishing and resided in Lincoln.

She worked in the dry cleaners in Lincoln for many years until moving to Southern California, first to Ventura, then Oxnard. She loved living in California.

She moved back to Rhode Island in September of 2011 and resided in Assisted living in East Greenwich. While in assisted living, she was passionate about knitting and made many baby blankets and hats, which she happily shared with many people. She also had an uncanny memory for names.

Her mother and sister “Peggy”, her first husband Robert and second James preceded her in death.

Her daughter Donna (Procter) Kagan, son-in-law Sam (who she adored), grandson’s Andrew, Aaron and his wife Britt survives her as well has her niece Patsy Josselyn.
