John F. Capron, Jr. 97, of New London Turnpike, West Warwick, RI, passed away on February 13, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Home and Hospice in Providence, RI. He was married to Cecile M. (Carvalho) Capron. He was the son of the late John and Lottie (Lambert) Capron.
John worked in textiles at various lace mills for many years before his retirement. He was an army veteran of WWII.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons; John F. Capron, III, and Robert W. Capron, a daughter; Margaret Case, as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister; Gladys Smith.
Military Honors will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, in Exeter, RI. Interment will follow.
