Jose Vallez Obituary

Jose (Joe) A. Vallez, 59, of West Warwick, died at home on August 8, 2019 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. Born February 18, 1960 in Queens, NY to Carmen Lydia Vasquez and Jose Antonio Vallez. He was the devoted husband of Kelly Hazard for 9 years.

Joe served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army for 6 years. He loved boats and fishing and spending time on Block Island with his wife’s family. He was a fantastic barbecue chef, having all the latest gadgets at hand.

Besides his wife, Kelly, Joe leaves his daughter, Emilie Cloutier and son Nicolas Vallez, both of Holland, MA. and sons Jules Caesar Vallez, Joseph Vallez of Miami, FL and Joseph Hopp of Cape Coral, FL. He also leaves his sisters, Evelyn Mendoza and Madeline Vega Beauchamp and his brother, Edwin Valle all from Orlando, FL. He was the brother of the late Sylvia Vega Laboy.

There will be a Celebration of Life for family and close friends on a date to be determined.
