Krystal Lussier Obituary

Krystal L. Lussier, 36 of Woonsocket passed away on May 24, 2019 after a short but fiercely fought battle with brain cancer. She was born in Woonsocket, RI on July 30, 1982. She is the loving daughter of her parents Brent Lussier and Patricia Tolliver and step-parents Jennifer Lussier and Jay Tolliver.
Krystal’s pride and joy and greatest accomplishment in life is her son, Riely Carrio, whom she shared with her longtime boyfriend Jason Carrio. The love and devotion that she showed her son was unlike any other. From her epic themed parties, to movie nights (indoor and outdoor), and crazy sleepovers to swimming in their pool or at the lake or planning fun day trips...there was nothing she wouldn’t do to make sure Riely was happy. She was the ultimate “Baseball Mom” and also worked at Riely’s school. Savoring every moment she got to spend with him.
In addition to all the love she poured on her own child, Krystal also showered love onto every child ( and adult!) that she met. She loved being a nanny to her two favorite little girls, Rowan and Quinnlyn Vadenais. Her selflessness and compassion for others was never more evident than in these past few months. In the midst of the devastating diagnosis she received she continued to worry about everyone else’s ability to cope. She was truly one of a kind.
Besides her parents and her son, she is also survived by her brothers Aaron and Glen Bartholomew (Kayla), Colin Fenner, and Christopher Lussier. And by her sister Brenna Lussier. She also leaves her Grandmothers Caryn Elliott and Lucille Sly, her niece Allyannah Bartholomew and her nephew Aidan Bergeron, her aunts, uncles, cousins and more friends than you can imagine.
At Krystal’s request there will be no formal services after cremation. She would like her family and close friends to enjoy a beautiful summer day at her favorite place, Beavertail, in Jamestown (on a date to be determined by her family) to laugh, share memories and “just have a really great day”.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
