Richard A. Costa

On December 28, 2019 Richard A. Costa of Coventry, R.l. passed away during a brief stay at Rhode Island Hospital. He leaves his wife of 28 years Debra Costa, his Stepson Jeremy O'Donnell, his wife Aimee and his two Grandchildren Breiana and Owen. His sister Nancy La Fountain, Nephew Kenneth La Fountain, his wife Kimberly and daughter Ava, Nephew Jeffrey La Fountain, his sons Tyler, Connor, and Brady. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Gertrude Costa of West Warwick R.|.

An Army Veteran serving his country in Vietnam until an honorable discharge in 1969. After his service, he worked at Amtrol as a welder for 47years before retiring. He was a member of The American Legion Post 0002 West Warwick.

After retirement Richard loved to spend his days at Pare's Garage with Peter and Doug Pare, on weekends you would find him at his beloved Wincheck Gun club, helping with the Youth Shoots, doing his part in work parties and shooting trap on Sundays. Both he and his wife loved to get away in the summer visiting friends up at Lake George.

He will be sadly missed by all.
