Bob knew how to make a little go a long way, how to make simple pleasures so satisfying for all of us. He was the hardest worker I know. His devotion to family and friends was unmatched. The universe has lost an important piece, but we have all been enriched by his presence.

Our sincere condolences to the Messier family. From personal experience, we know how painful the death of a loved one can be. One thing that helped our family was reading words of consolation from The Holy Scriptures. One scripture that we know is what our lord Jesus said in John 5:28 which reads: "Do not be amazed, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". The hope of a resurrection can bring us much hope and comfort. If you would like to read The Holy Scriptures directly on the website, go to: www.jw.org. We pray that the words found in The Bible can soothe your hearts.
Sincerely, Maggie

Bob was a devoted husband and father. Bob was a talented man. Excellent mechanic and handyman extraordinaire. Bob was a kind and generous man. Quick to offer help, a comforting smile ... a cup of tea. Bob was a friend.
