Ruth R. (Reynolds) Clark

Ruth R. Clark, 85, of Old Pocassett Lane, Johnston, RI, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Hope, Hospice & Palliative Care RI, Providence, RI. Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the wife of the late Harold W. Clark, Jr. and the daughter of the late David B. and Alice (Lindsay) Reynolds.

After graduating from Aldrich High School Ruth worked at Industrial National Bank in Providence, RI, for three years. She then worked at American Tourister for six and half years. Leaving there, she worked for Natco Products Companies for over forty years, at one time being president of their advertising specialty bag division.

In her retirement years her greatest love was her volunteer work, especially meals on wheels, caregiver appointments and office work for the elderly and disabled. Her other loves were camping, boating, bowling, reading, enjoying lunches and being with her friends.

Ruth is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother; Kenneth Reynolds.

A funeral will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 62 Pleasant Street, West Warwick, RI. A calling hour will be held prior from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Burial will be private.
