Albert Campopiano Obituary

Albert A. Campopiano, 90, of Guild Avenue, Warwick, RI, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Warwick, RI. Born on November 13, 1933, in Providence, RI, he was the husband of the late Dorothy (Gaze) Campopiano and the son of the late Paul and Clara (Moniz) Campopiano.

Albert was a wood finisher for Monarch Incorporated, Warwick, RI, for many years before retiring in 1995. After his retirement, he worked as a greeter for Walmart and as a bagger for Winn Dixie. He enjoyed bowling and belonging to various bowling leagues. Albert also enjoyed baseball, soccer and coaching youth sports.

Albert is survived by a daughter; Susan Rivera, a son; Joseph Campopiano and a grand son; Tristen Rivera. He was predeceased by a brother; Paul Campopiano and a sister; Natalie Chiulli.

Albert’s services will be private.
