Alice I. (Capwell) Morgan

Alice I. Morgan, 74, of Viero Lane, Coventry, RI, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Kent Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born on July 23, 1951, in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Brayman and Thelma Capwell.

Alice worked for many years as a school bus driver for the Exeter–West Greenwich School Department, touching the lives of countless children and families before retiring in 2012. She also spent many summers working for New England Lemonade. She cherished time with her family, and through her crocheting she created pieces meant to comfort, protect, and warm the people she loved. Every stitch carried her time, patience, and heart.

She is survived by her children Kathleen Santos (Jimmy), Christine Weaver (Brian), Rebecca Raimondo (Paul), and Cecelia Gallucci; her brother Lloyd Capwell (Linda); sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great‑grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William I. Morgan III, and her siblings Louise Zampini, Beverly Brennan, Gloria Waterman, Patricia Capwell, Betty Thayer, Johnny Capwell, Robert Capwell, and Arthur Brayman.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Gorton–Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
