Bernard F. Zaloudek

Bernard F. Zaloudek, 84, of South Main Street, Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI.  Born on August 18, 1938, in Enid, OK, to Caroll F. and Georgia Violet (Secrist) Zaloudek.

Bernard was a self-employed carpenter for over fifty years before retiring in 2015. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and making unique birdhouses for friends and family.  He was also a lifelong, contributing member of Club Jogues in Coventry.

Bernard is survived by three sons; Kevin (Julie) Zaloudek, Eugene “Gene” (Penny) Zaloudek, William “Bill” (Cindy) Zaloudek; a sister, Linda Bollom; six grandchildren, Tristan Zaloudek, Sabrina Zaloudek, Kristina Zaloudek, Danielle Zaloudek, Brittany Cooper and Erin Laukhuf; two great grandchildren, Elden Frank and Emilio Reyes; and several nieces and nephews.     

He was predeceased by his parents; his second wife, Virginia (Lambert) Zaloudek; a brother, Bruce Zaloudek; and a sister, Barbara Baade.  

Bernard’s services will be private.
