Beverly K. Silva, 64, of Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Accent Care Hospice House in Milton, MA, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 17, 1961, in Providence, RI, she was the beloved wife of the late Gregory Silva and the cherished daughter of the late Donald and Hope (Brokaw) Charland.
Beverly dedicated her life to caring for others. A proud Supervising Registered Nurse, she served with compassion and professionalism at Eleanor Slater Hospital, in Cranston, until her retirement in 2021. A lifelong learner, she earned her Masters of Science, in Nursing, in 2011. Her strength, empathy, and unwavering commitment to her patients and colleagues were the hallmarks of her career and the legacy she leaves behind.
Beyond her work, Beverly embraced life with joy and curiosity. She treasured time with her family, loved attending concerts and Blues festivals, and found adventure in traveling, visiting amusement parks, and camping with friends. She enjoyed participating in her book club, going to the movies, race car events, and any opportunity to share laughter and new experiences. Beverly’s generous spirit, kindness, and sense of adventure touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Brandy Lee Silva (Paul Manning) and Anthony Silva; her siblings, Faith Charland, Robert Geake, and William Geake; her cherished grandson, Aiden Silva; and many nieces and nephews who adored her.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Gorton - Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI with a memorial service to follow at 8:00 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the The Potter League for Animals.
