Carolyn Stanelun Obituary

Carolyn F. “Kay” Stanelun, 82, of Town Farm Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Born on November 18, 1938 in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Zigmund and Viola (Sun) Kazmierski.

Kay was a human resource manager for Motley Rice LLC, Providence, RI, for many years, before retiring in 2013. Prior to that she was the owner / operator of Stanelun Associates, Providence, RI, for several years.

She enjoyed dancing, knitting, tennis, water sports, traveling and spending summers with her family at the lake house.

Kay is survived by two daughters: Cris Trainor and Tracey Stanelun, her former husband: Al Stanelun, four grandchildren: Larkin, Evan, Quinn and Madeline Trainor, five great grandchildren: Kaylee, Mia, Enzo, Ruby and Tessa Daluz. She was predeceased by a brother: Klenn Kazmierski and a sister: Lori Kazmierski.

Kay’s service will be private.
