Charlotte L. (Miner) Bettez

Charlotte L. Bettez, 83, of Main Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on December 19, 1939, in East Greenwich, RI, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Beatrice (Ball) Miner.

Charlotte was a waitress for several and various area restaurants for forty years before retiring in 2000.

Charlotte is survived by two children; George E. Laiho Jr. and his wife Kelly and Amy Swanton and her husband Michael, three siblings; Carl Miner, Ida Miner and George Miner, five grandchildren; Rebecca Jenkins, Hannah Renzi, Shannon Laiho, Cameron Swanton and Taryn Swanton and a great grandson; Levi Jenkins. She was predeceased by two brothers: John Miner and Clayton Miner.

Charlotte’s services will be private.
