Claire L. (Lavoie) Girard

Claire L. Girard, 92, of South Main Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Riverview Health Care Community, Coventry, RI. Born on December 13, 1927 in West Warwick, RI, she was the wife of Armand E. Girard and the daughter of the late Albert and Elise (Benoit) Lavoie.

Claire was a textile worker for Warwick Braid, West Warwick, RI, for many years before retiring.

Claire is survived by five children; Donald Girard, Sandra Balcom, Terry Femling, Christine Bliss and Dennis Girard, two sisters; Theresa Lavoie and Emiley Vanderburgh, eight grandchildren; Ronda Balcom, Gary Femling, Robert Femling, Claire Diaz, Renee Stockton, Amber Bliss, Troy Bliss and Madison Girard and six great grandchildren; Amelia, Everly, Braylee, Zaden, Gabriel and Logan. She was predeceased by a son; David Girard.
