Claudette M. (Paul) Chausse

Claudette M. Chausse, 81, of Chandler Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Kent Regency in Warwick, RI. Born on November 6, 1944, in Lincoln, RI, she was the wife of the late Donald J. Chausse Sr. and the daughter of the late Rosario and Marguerite (Richard) Paul.

Claudette worked as an assembler for five years at Tech Industries in Woonsocket. She cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casinos.

She is survived by her three children: Barbara Hallas, Donald Chausse Jr., and Thomas Chausse; her siblings Madeleine Chaput, Monique Woods, and Richard Paul; eight grandchildren; nine great‑grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Bernadette Paul and Pauline Pontbrian.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:30 am in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.
