Claudette Petit Obituary

Claudette G. Petit, 77, of Church Street, Bradford, RI, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on October 7, 1942 in West Warwick, RI, she was the wife of the late Conrad A. Petit Jr. and the daughter of the late Edgar and Rose (Blanchette) Cloutier.

Claudette was an assembler for Texas Instrument, Mansfield, MA, for many years until retiring in 1998. Prior to that, she was a weaver for many years at various companies.

Claudette was a member of the Coventry Senior Center, Pawtuxet Valley Community Chorus, and St. John the Baptist Adult Choir. She enjoyed painting and was an avid sports fan, especially the New England Patriots.

Claudette is survived by two children; Donna L. Beaudreau and Denise Leighton, a brother; Joseph Roger Cloutier and Annette Beaudreau, four grandchildren; William Beaudreau, Trever Beaudreau, Kyle Leighton and Stephanie Leighton. She was predeceased by three sisters; Simonne Lavoie, Lucille Bouyssou and Arlene Vieirra.

Claudette’s services will be private.
