Curtis J. Ledford

Curtis J. Ledford Jr., 72, of Roberts Street, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Riverview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Coventry, RI. Born on January 27, 1952 in North Kingstown, RI, he was the son of the late Curtis J. Sr. and Anna R. (Ruzzo) Ledford. He was a lifelong resident of West Warwick, RI.

Curtis was a textile worker for Cooley Manufacturing, Pawtucket, RI, for forty years before retiring in 2014. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, a sports enthusiast, avid reader and enjoyed trivia and gardening.

Curtis is survived by six siblings: Carol Cornelius, Richard A. Ledford and former spouse Celeste, Mark A. Ledford, Lori A. Humphrey and her husband Michael, Linda M. Gorton and her husband Alan and John D. Ledford and his wife Suzanne. He was a loving Uncle to his nieces and nephews spanning many decades. Curtis was predeceased by a brother; Steven M. Ledford.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. A visitation will be held prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick, RI.
