David W. Hazard Sr.

David W. Hazard Sr., 51, of Matteson Road, Hope, RI, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at home. Born on April 14, 1971, in Warwick, RI, he was the son of the late Walter and Hazel (Fischer) Hazard.

David was the owner and operator of Hazard & Sons Construction, Hope, RI for many years. He also loved being outdoors and was a skilled hunter and fisherman.

David is survived by three children; David Hazard Jr., Matthew Hazard and Breanna Hazard, four siblings; Thomas Hazard, Janet Misiaszek, Robert Hazard and Joyce Cooke and nieces and nephews; Crystal, Tommy, Jared, Evan, Jake, Brandi, Brian, Rachael, Curtis and Nathan.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
