David F. Munroe

David F. Munroe, 76, of Fairview Avenue, Coventry, RI, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on July 19, 1944 in Providence, RI, he was the husband of Jo Ellen (Myers) Munroe. They were married for forty-two years. He was the son of the late Albert F. and Althea (Harrison) Munroe.

David was a material handler for Bostich Company, East Greenwich, RI, for over forty years before retiring in 2007. He was a private pilot and part of the civil air patrol. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcyle, he loved old cars and going to car shows.

Besides his wife Jo Ellen Munroe, he is survived by a son; Bryan Munroe and his wife Mary, a sister; Diane Strauss, two grandchildren; Jameson Munroe and Kieran Munroe, and two nephews; Bill Vaughn and family and John Vaughn and family.

David’s services will be private.

A picnic memorial for David will be scheduled for the summer of 2021.
