Donald R. Brunette

Donald R. Brunette, 86, of Plain Meeting House Road, West Greenwich, RI, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at South County Hospital. Born in Coventry, RI, he was the beloved husband of Mary A. (Searle) Brunette. They shared 64 years of marriage. He was the son of the late William and Cecile (Thibodeau) Brunette.

Donald worked as a batch maker for Hoechst in Coventry for 21 years before retiring in 2004. Prior to that, he spent 16 years as a maintenance worker and mechanic at National Bottle, also in Coventry. He enjoyed riding his tractor, gardening, fishing, and hunting. He was a longtime member of the Highland Rod & Gun Club in Foster.

In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by his sons Daniel R. Brunette (Heide) and Dennis R. Brunette; his brother, Roger Brunette; five grandchildren; five great‑grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
