Donald Cross

Donald Cross, 88, of Friar Tuck Lane, Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on July 21, 1936, in Warwick, RI, he was the husband of Jo Ann E. (Sutterlin) Cross. They were married for forty-one years. He was the son of the late Walter and Alice (French) Cross.

Donald was a fire fighter for the City of Warwick, RI, for twenty-three years before retiring in 1986. He enjoyed doing Word Search books, yard work and spending time with his family.

Besides his wife Jo Ann Cross, Donald is survived by two children; Michelle Cross and Donna Halvorsen and two grandchildren; Brandon Halvorsen and Brittany Halvorsen.

Donald’s service will be private.
