Donna M. MacDonald

Donna M. MacDonald, 65, of South County Trail, Exeter, RI passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at home. Born on January 17, 1957, in Chelsea, MA, she was the wife of the late Gilbert L. Mitchell and the daughter of the late Hugh F. and Mabel L. (Dunn) MacDonald.

Donna was a certified nursing assistant for thirty-five years before retiring in 2015. Donna spent her time watching T.V especially her favorite shows, Friends and S.O.A. She was a generous, caring and very family-oriented person, who loved spending time with or even just talking about her family, to who she dedicated her life to. But her greatest love of all and utmost favorite thing in the world to do was spend time with her four grandkids, who she loved with all of her heart.

Donna is survived by four children; Michelle Mitchell, Michael Mitchell, Craig Mitchell and Keianna Mitchell, two sisters; Tammy Manzo and Debra MacDonald and four grandkids; Carter Mitchell, Lydia Mitchell, Xavier Stevens and Lillian-Arlene Manzo-Horn. She was predeceased by a son; Paul Mitchell and a brother; Hugh MacDonald.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the Gorton - Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Burial will be private.
