Dorothy M. Kenyon

Dorothy M. Kenyon, 92, of West Warwick, RI, and formerly of Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully at Westview Nursing Home on June 4, 2025. Born on January 6, 1933, in Warwick, RI, she was the beloved daughter of the late George F. and Marie Anita (Bosse) Kenyon.

Dorothy dedicated her life to hard work and service. She spent ten years as a lace cutter at Valley Lace in Hope, RI, before transitioning to a career in housekeeping at Westview Nursing Home and Coventry Health Center, where she worked tirelessly for many years until her retirement in 1995. She was a devoted member of AARP and St. Vincent de Paul Church, where she found community and faith.

Dorothy is survived by a brother; Richard Kenyon, a sister; Mary Charlotte Bloomer and her husband George, niece's Bonnie (Kenyon) Lang, Tracy (Kenyon) Dugan and Carol (Kenyon) Parker, and nephew's Rodney Kenyon, Rick Kenyon, David Kenyon and a partner of seventeen years; Roger Chabot. She was predeceased by three brothers; George F. Kenyon Jr., Thomas Kenyon, Paul D. Kenyon and a nephew; Daniel James Kenyon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 Saint Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
