Dorothy M. (Lalonde) Thomson

Dorothy M. Thomson, 94, of Plainfield Pike, Greene, RI, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Pine Acres Assisted Living, Coventry, RI. Born on November 3, 1930, in Fine, NY, she was the wife of the late Raymond Thomson and the daughter of the late William and Nettie (Kerr) Lalonde.

Dorothy was a nurse's assistant for South Kingstown Nursing for many years before retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Red Hats, Cooksville, TN. She enjoyed yard-saling and being with family.

Dorothy is survived by six children; Dawn Cotnoir, Donald Leary, Paul Leary, Timothy Leary, Mark Leary and Shawn Leary, thirteen grandchildren; Crystal Leary, Kayla Leary, Ashley Leary, Stacia Ott, Charles Leary, Dawn Hoxsie, Timothy Leary Jr., Donald Leary, Daniel Leary, Michelle Leary, Amber Leary, Joshua Leary and Paul Cotnoir, twenty-five great-grandchildren and five great, great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son; Gary Leary and three brothers; Raymond Lalonde, William Lalonde and Harlan Lalonde.
