Edward T. Vigue

Edward T. Vigue Jr., 77, of Woody Hill Road, Bradford, RI, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at his home. Born in Westerly, RI, he was the husband of Linda S. (McGouran) Vigue. They shared 25 years of marriage. He was the son of the late Edward T. Vigue Sr. and Ruby (Niles) Vigue.

Edward was the owner and operator of Performance Plus in Westerly for seven years. Prior to that, he worked as a blueprint draftsman for 30 years before retiring in 2011. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was also a member of a drag racing crew in Rhode Island and played guitar in several local bands.

In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his children Edward T. Vigue III, Christopher Vigue, Michael Vigue, Peter Vigue, Kelly Townsend, Jennifer Everett, and Joshua Tapley; 18 grandchildren; 8 great‑grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Marylee Lariviere.
