Obituary
Eleanor M. Wood, 94, of Randall Street, Providence, RI, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Charlesgate Nursing Home, Providence, RI. Born on August 29, 1927 in Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Eva Perry.
Eleanor was a packer for Star City Glass Company, Coventry, RI, for many years before retiring in 1980. She enjoyed tending to her farm in Rice City, Coventry and doing crossword puzzles.
Eleanor is survived by two sons; Howard D. Wood, Sr. and Vernon F. Oatley, a daughter; Lynn Bergeron, two grandchildren; Tonya Jackson and Howard D. Wood, Jr. and five great grandchildren.
Eleanor’s service will be private.
