Elizabeth Languirand Obituary

Elizabeth A. Languirand, 84, of Carley Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at West View Nursing Home, West Warwick, RI, surrounded by her family. Born on December 28, 1937, in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Henry E. and Frances (Rison) Garvey.

Elizabeth was a CNA for Pawtuxet Village Nursing Home, Warwick, RI, for many years before retiring in 1998. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed a fine martini.

Elizabeth is survived by a son; Louis C. Wegener, III and a daughter; Lisa A. Gauthier and her husband Wayne, three siblings; Carol Fusco, Robert F. Garvey and Linda Pilderian, six grandchildren; Louis Wegener, Elizabeth Wegener, Rocky Wegener, Victoria Rose Gauthier, Lily Jordan and Amber Simpson. She was predeceased by a son; Robert L. Wegener and five siblings: Catherine Ward, Henry E. Garvey, Patrick J. Garvey, Mary Lowell and Michael E. Garvey.

Elizabeth’s service will be private.
