Ernest E. Parker Jr., 63, of Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Fatima Hospital, Providence, RI. Born on April 14, 1959, in Warwick, RI, he was the husband of the late Janet Parker and the son of the late Ernest E. Sr. and Louise (Lowell) Parker.

Ernest was a machinist for Electric Boat, North Kingstown, RI, for many years. He was a US Marine serving in peacetime.

Ernest is survived by two brothers; Stephen Parker and Mark Parker Sr., three sisters; KathyAnn Martin, Elaine Gawthrop and Diane Fisher and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother; Joseph Parker.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI, followed by a committal service with US Military Honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
