Florence Y. (Gauthier) Plante

Florence Y. Plante, 97, of Coit Avenue, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the home of her son in West Warwick, RI. Born on September 10, 1923 in Coventry, RI, she was the wife of the late Robert L. Plante Sr. Florence and Robert were married on May 4, 1946 in St. Vincent De Paul Church, Anthony, RI. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Aldea (Biron) Gauthier.

Florence worked in food services for Winman Junior High School, Warwick, RI for over forty years until retiring.

Florence is survived by two sons; Robert Plante Jr. and James Plante, a sister; Lena Vannesse, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons; David Plante and Ronald Plante.
